Trusted Advisor
A trusted advisor is one of our key service offerings – in fact, it’s the very reason we’re in business. We love nothing more than to become a business’ strategic partner and provide expert advice on any technology challenges that fall outside their ‘business as usual’ IT. We do this:-
· By putting our clients first - we always think of our clients, their challenges, their priorities, their concerns, before our own.
· By asking questions to understand why – we keep asking questions to understand why our clients are asking what they ask us, and why they think like they do. That way we can help them understand the context of their situation and possible solutions to problems.
· By giving options (and an informed opinion) – our role is to help our clients understand so they can decide, not decide for them. We will give clients options, educated them about their options (pros and cons), make our recommendation, but let them decide. Ultimately, the final decision lies with them.
· By being generous with our knowledge and expertise – we believe we become trusted by sharing our knowledge, rather than hoarding it.
· By delivering on our promises – if we say we’ll do something by 9am next morning, we’ll commit to it and do it. This builds trust because we then have a track record of doing what we say we do.
This means that we typically operate as advisors to management boards, directors, and in-house IT teams.
